Terms of Service

Welcome to OLEA, owned and operated by Brululi LLC, a Florida limited liability company. By accessing or using OLEA (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Use of the App
OLEA is a tool for storing, modifying, and managing recipes. Some recipes and instructions are generated using artificial intelligence.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, or nutritional value of any recipe or content provided.
At Your Own Risk: Cooking and consuming meals is done at your own risk. You are solely responsible for following safe cooking techniques, checking for allergies, and determining the safety and suitability of ingredients or instructions.
No Professional Advice: OLEA does not offer dietary, nutritional, or culinary advice. We are not liable for any outcomes related to use of the app or content therein.
2. Account Access
All features (e.g. saving, syncing, or modifying recipes) require an account, which is created via Google or Apple OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
2a. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use OLEA. If you are under 18, you may only use the app under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Subscriptions and Refunds
OLEA offers both a free trial and paid subscription plans.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the billing date.
All purchases are final. However, if you're unhappy with the service, please reach out to us at bruno@meez.app — we want to make it right.
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to OLEA.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving OLEA. We will never use your content for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.
AI-generated content (such as recipe parses and summaries) is provided for your use in the app. We do not claim ownership but reserve the right to use this content to improve OLEA features and performance.
5. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, branding, and platform features of OLEA are the intellectual property of Brululi LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the app for unlawful purposes.
• Upload or share content that infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the app or its backend.
7. Third-Party Services
OLEA uses third-party services including:
• Supabase for authentication and data storage
• OpenAI and Gemini for AI-based recipe parsing (no personal data is shared)
• PostHog for anonymized analytics
Use of OLEA is also subject to the terms of these providers.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to OLEA at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
9. Disclaimers
OLEA is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free functionality.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Brululi LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of OLEA.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the use of OLEA is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for using the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app, our website, or email (if applicable). Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida for any dispute arising out of your use of OLEA.
